Benn Ray, the owner of Atomic Books an independent bookstore in Baltimore, picks his weekly comics highlights for the music and literature blog Largehearted Boy. This week’s picks include the following Koyama Press titles Victor Kerlow’s Everything Takes Forever (9780987963086 | May 2013 | $10.00 | Trade Paper), and Michael DeForge’s Very Casual (9780987963079 | May 2013 | $15.00 | Trade Paper) and Lose #5 (9780987963062 | June 2013 | $8.00 | Trade Paper).

On Everything Takes Forever:

“This collection of comics and drawings by this New Yorker and New York Times illustrator is a showcase of talent – featuring varying styles and subject matter, and including, of course, Taco Head.” — Benn Ray, Largehearted Boy

On Very Casual and Lose #5:

“First, there’s a new issue of one of the hottest underground comics going on right now, Lose. It’s a collection of trippy, weird and entertaining short stories – it’s sort of like Adventure Time for grown-ups. Then, Very Causal collects a number of Deforge’s non-Lose stories – his contributions to websites, anthologies and mini-comics. Also weirdly excellent.” — Benn Ray, Largehearted Boy

Check out the rest of his picks here!
