Black is Beautiful

By Allister Lee

From the artist:

"A moniker I use to label artwork, projects and product that are my interpretation of the phrase “Black is Beautiful”. The work is usually rendered by hand using various forms of black ink, with a DIY aesthetic in execution and distribution. Subject matter ranges from the documentation of Black Markers to the reappropriation of Black Superheroes. Usually created in the midnight hour, the work is often an interpolation of pop-counter-culture imagery, subversive messages, and macabre inspirations."

Six 2-colour silkscreen prints on blotter paper, silkscreened paper bag.
